Hello Readers,
I’d like to start of by welcoming you all to Chapter 10 of CnC, this chapter is marking the beginning of our partnership with TheTiedTigress ( http://www.furaffinity.net/user/thetiedtigress ) who’ll be drawing chapter 10, and if all else goes well and you all seem quite happy, quite a few future chapters of the strip for the foreseeable future. So do leave your thoughts in the comments section below and let her know what you think, as well as story comments (I’m still scripting this one so it’s an on going project)
So Chapter 10 “The old country” will have some delving into Svetlana’s acceptance into the CnC Store staff. Lots of fun to be had this chapter, but I don’t want to spoil it for you all . We WILL be on a normal Saturday update schedule from this point on (and even hopefully over the holidays) so definitely stay tuned each week , as we’ll be here

What a nice first page! The artistic standards for CnC have always been high – and it looks like TheTiedTigress will be keeping the flag flying for this chapter easily! Svetlana is already a fan favorite – I think everyone is waiting for her ample proportions to put certain other characters in their place! XD MILF for the win! XD

Wow this went faster than expected, and that are indeed some VERY good news! I´m very happy that we have another awesome (and also one of my favourite) artist who will draw the comic, and I really hope that she´ll do more than just one chapter. Also I´m glad that we´ll finally have a weekly update again (finally no more CnC withdrawal syndroms ;-))

I still say that Lana is a very pretty older female…a cuddly teddy bear. Such a beautiful lady, I will send Borsh, Tvorog, Pelmeni and Plov.
Hope this is enough she is a big lady with a big appetite.
I’ve always enjoyed her work so great to see her working on CnC now, and nice start to things.
Is it funnier that whenever I read that Cyrillic I just replace it with R2-D2 beeps since I have no idea what it says.

I am thrilled to hear that The TiedTigress will be doing the drawing.
Translation, for those of us illiterate in Russian (and for whom the above exchange between Jive Guru, rwpikul, and Cheetah is leaving us scratching our heads):
Google Translate says “очень хорошо” is “very well;” from context, I’m taking it to mean “very good.”
…and “очень хорошо” sounds something like “ochingk korosho” to the Western ear, also according to Google Translate.
Looks like some people may be learning a little Cyrillic over the coarse of CnC LOL
Suits me fine! I’m always eager to scratch my curiosity bump; all the better if I manage to learn something in the process. ;-p
Man oh man, why can’t everyone just speak English like the rest of the world! 🙂
Auctually, English is only the third most common language in the world. #1 has over twice as many native speakers as English. Which is, of course, Mandarin (Chinese!). Mind you, Russian is #8 on the list, so that makes Svetlana Extra rare and special. ;D
