Looks like the first stop may have been a little out of their wheelhouse… Doesn’t look like Billie, or Jo minded all that much though, but Melody is a tad bit protective of her boss!

Could I suggest he hire a drone operator. Set up a fancy dinner at an outdoor restaurant and just as dinner is finished (before they order dessert), the dron flies in and lowers a fancy box with the ring in it to the center of the table. Then pop the question when Jo asks what’s happening.
If nothing else, it will be memorable, and since its not the real world, you don’t have top worry about the FAA regulations. 🙂

That would be amazing. Oh, I can imagine a whole series of wacky hijinks where Jim has a whole event set up, but accidentally leaves the ring at the studio. It just so happens that Ms. Crypt was stopping by to make an appointment, learns about the left-behind ring from one of the other characters at the studio, then offers to fly it over. She makes it there just as Jim starts to reach into his pockets and realize he doesn’t have the ring. How extra would it be if Sarina was riding on Crypt’s back, acting as navigator?
Don’t let perfect be the enemy of good, Jim.
Rather enjoying this chapter. The art is quite fun — a great blend of adorable and sexy.
Looking forward to this year’s comics. So much stuff built up in the story. Excited to see what will happen.
