Aaah, that kind of insurance… yeah, with all the guys who would be hitting on Sari, and who could blame them, I’d guess a little insurance would be needed. 😀

I think I prefer “Overprotective Rather a bit Jealous Boyfriend” to “Brother” in any context concerning Jim and Sari.
Granted, it’s probably a good thing for Sari, as she might end up being a total slut without the extra protection, but it’s still a little creepy.

No, I would say those were standard “Tabi” on the ninja’s feet – an Asian style of sock or soft-soled shoe that has a split between the big toe and other toes, to allow wearing ‘geta’ sandals, which have a cord that comes up between the big toe and second toe. So the ninja could be Human, as implied by what seemed a four-fingered hand that rapped on the window, or they could be any anthro species that is primarily plantigrade in the feet.
The ninja does seem diminutive, however, and I am guessing possibly a female?
I assumed were hooves but ninja feet make sense 🙂

However humorous this page was meant to be it takes Jim into creepy, possessive BF territory setting people up to ensure he’s the only male to get at Sari (and in High School a jealous BF DID leave one of my classmates behind to watch his GF to keep me away from her after he graduated as she still had another year left).
I watch “Untouchables” a lot, I was thinking “protection” …. can’t say as I blame the man 🙂

I think your misunderstanding that middle area. I think that is a flash back showing what the one guy is telling the Deer guy. and that that flashback was taking place at the same time that Jim and Jo were talking in the car to show what the one guy was saying happens to guys who hit on Sari and also to show what kind of insurance.

Hey Jim, when is it you plan on introducing Sarina’s father? Surely it been on the minds of all your readers? It’s not like he just up and disappeared without a trace right? I would find it rather funny if the “insurance” was indeed Sarina’s father, watching out for her the whole time.

I was hoping there would be an explanation for the “insurance” with the new comic, but it seems to have been put on the back burner. I do hope it’s explained soon, because the only explanations I can think of lower my opinion of Jim drastically.
