Lil late with this one, but we’re still having some growing pains. Yeah it’s really hard to keep something like what happened between Jim and Sarina a secret from a woman who you considered a second mom. Do you think Jim made the right decision? I don’t think I’d want to ever cross Manila’s bad side.

Well she has finally started getting some action after years of being alone. And with a younger guy too. I really don’t think she needs an ankle bitter dropping into her life to ruin the first decent piece of tail she has gotten in ages.
I believe this scenario occurs several months, almost a year before she becomes a cougar serval.
I think it’s more about the timing of grandchildren rather than the actual having of grandchildren.
Typo in panel 2. “where this” should be “were the”. If she’s this mad about the idea of other boys dating Sari, I wonder how she’ll take the news of Darren?
I’ve always wondered if Manila was aware of her daughter’s sex life, let alone who it was with. She sure didn’t bat an eye when she saw Sari naked in “Meet the Doyles.” Hee, also explains why Jim hired that ninja.
Manila is one scary mom. I would hate to be the one to piss her off. WOW! However, if I was a high schooler, I’d have a hard time not trying to get close to her.
You know Mani, Jim could use a little more sweet comfort from a good woman.
Speaking, of course, as the toy of a horny teenage boy . . . . . .
So thats why Jim hired a ninja, so he wouldn’t get his butt whooled by Manila lol.

Does she know about Darren now?
That she does. But Jim trusts him. And he had zero chance of getting her pregnant not being another cheetah or even feline. Plus it makes Sarina very very happy. Though to be fair in this scnene Darren wouldn’t be around for a while.
Good to know for the first, I know that Jim likes him due to their meeting beforehand and that he makes Sarina very happy. (Not to mention that I know that this page was a flashback, I was just asking that in response to what she told Jim about keeping other male teens from her). As for the zero chance of pregnancy, mixed feelings about that. I get the one idea being as they don’t have to worry about having them too early as Manila described, but on the other, I was kinda hoping that if things worked out for them in the long run that they could potentially have a little paw-printed bunny and grey kitten or both or more in the future.
Personal opinion: keep in mind that a lot of other artists are starting to create hybrid children for anthro characters of different species, myself included.
I actually asked a question a while ago on FA about what Sari and Darren would think their little ones would look like in the future. The only reason it wasn’t put into this series as a weekly question is because I don’t have a patreon account. But if it’s alright, I’d like to draw a few images based around this fantastic series of yours with several of these crazy/cute characters in future situations… with your A-Okay of course. One I already had in mind was Sari and Darren’s wedding in their… early to mid twenties?
You’re always welcome to draw art / fan art/ hypothetical art of the strip characters. Just know that canonically, Darren and Sari could never have offspring together. There’s plans in place for that, and it’s already planned and even sort of mentioned in the strip though I’m not going to point out where.. All int he future 😛
