Sorry for the week delay, but in return we bring you, a significantly longer detail filled return strip now illustrated by Mackey Graphics of TJA, FA, and Inkbunny. Looks like it’s down to the nitty gritty of their little office competition, and everyone’s definitely taking it seriously! I’d also like to give a shout out to tobi3B , and Henry K9 for making an appearance in this week’s strip, keep an eye out for them as the battle progresses. We’re back to the Easter Eggs peeps so keep your eyes open. If you’re not watching Mackey on TJA , FA, or IB you should probably do so. And he’s always open for commissions and is pretty open about what he’ll draw for you guys n gals!

I am loving the new style, and thank you MakeyGraphics for jumping on as the artist for CnC! I love your perspectives, how you actually add the little details that some can skip over while drawing. Man, it looks like they’re going to be having a lot of fun within the next couple of strips, but something tells me that most of the females are going to be getting very wet, very soon.
Well it’s not going to go anywhere but up, I’ve been watching as the new few strips take shape and Mackey is really starting to knock it out of the park. Cant’ wait for everyone else to see 🙂

Right now we’re going for more of an old school highly detailed B&W like we did in chapter 1 thru 9.
Yeah, for now the Black and white, with more detail forthcoming as I get better with this comic’s style. Will take a couple strips to get there though. Once I get my speed up and get better equipment to do the work with (ie: a Cintiq) I will shift to color as time allows. For a while though, with the portfolios that are in progress for CnC, the comic, and all the fun side work Jim has me working on, there is a limit to how much time I can devote to each thing.
I half way expected to see Svetlana’s highly competitive nature towards Jim come out and her just take the ENTIRE tub of water balloons instead of just an armload.
Well she’s not going to cheat 😛 But she has one heck of a throwing arm.

Sari well be the least wet because of the amount of clothing she has on. Also happened to her pants did she change out of them after the pie eating contest?
Fur soaks up a lot of water.. ANd we should be use to Sari’s magical ability to suddenly wear less clothing.
When I saw “GRab what you want” and “The direst one wns” i thought something MUCH more intimate 😉
I like this new artist. The characters poses and expressions are much more fluid and realistic. B/W is fine with me, besides this artists delineations and thin ink lines don’t led themselves as well to color. I actually enjoy detail rather than color for most comics.

Liking it so far! The style seems to fit the characters well.
Liking= very yes! 🙂 I think my favorite parts are Bella’s tail fluffing in the 2nd frame and then Sari’s tail twitching in the last frame.. both are small details but they dramatically improve the energy and character of the scene.
It’s been something that’s been missing, that’s for sure.
Hahah poor Bella, she doesn have a chance against Jim lol Can´t wait to see who wins this round.

Like the new artist’s style. It’s tough coming in with well known characters and doing them in your style.
Wait, that didn’t right. It’s difficult taking well-established characters and drawing them in your own style, and having the fans accept them. Very well done, Mackey.
