It was fantastic meeting all of you at FWA this last week, we have some fantastic readers… and possibly got some air time on Attack of the show.. but who knows. You guys and gals don’t need to be so quiet around the table next time!! Ask questions.. make comments, that’s why we’re there LOL.. Well this week we’re back with Manila and Anthony one last time, I know a few of you are thinking the portfolio is a spoiler, and I guess you’ll need to read on to find out.. Hmmmm… Getting hooked up aye? Nice goin Anthony. You found yourself a fine woman here. If you notice, Manila is looking a bit like Sari in the second panel, and Anthony looks like he is looking at Manila’s bewbies :3 and thinking: “Mmmmmmm…. Me likie”
Just to sum up what Manila is saying at the end: “But I… I’m not… gonna… MILFY on him JUST yet”
One last note. I saw ‘Battle Los Angeles’ today. Or slightly different tittle. It was AWESOME!!! Any one else seen it? Or planning to?

The next chapter, I believe, is going to be checking in on some of the other characters to see what’s happening with them. The others need some love too! 🙂

Love that winning smile Anthony has as he gives Manilla ‘her prize’. And a confident fellow, to give her his number and the promise of a dinner date, while asking no contact information from her in return. He seems pretty sure she’ll call him. I hope he’s right. In spite of the age difference, he would be good for her self-esteem, if nothing else. She seems to have been playing the “too busy being a single mom to consider dating” game for too long. Now, I wonder if she’ll tell Sarina that a boy almost as young as Sari offered Manilla a dinner date, and gave her his number? That could be an interesting conversation indeed.
I’m figuring on the portfolio as a fantasy fulfillment, (ours, as well as some of the characters) and not so much a spoiler. If it comes to pass, great! But even if Anthony ends up ‘just friends’ with Manilla, he’s a good addition to the cast.

I believe Rokukeis referring to the way some comics end up drifting away from a realistic setting as a way to gain more attention. For example, introducing supernatural or fantasy elements to ‘make it fresh’. This comic is doing a great job of keeping everything interesting, while keeping all the situations realistic and believable.
Well for me personally the comic so so interesting BECAUSE everything that happens in it could really happen in real live^^ And I don´t really think that this will ever change^^
lol Just watch the next chapter be all about the ghost that haunts the Camera shop and the only way to deal with it is to travel into an alternate reality to find a magical object that can trap the ghost. Then a space ship lands and a hot alien chick joins the cast!
