Stuff’s pretty intense on the way down
Panel three is particularly good. I’ve seen that expression so many times on friends who were not used to downing a shot of the hard stuff.
I’m more like Lana when it comes to straight shots. A drunk Navy buddy passed me a bottle of 151 proof rum once as i came into the barracks, and I took a swig and handed it back to him with only a ‘not bad, thank you’ reaction. He couldn’t believe I hadn’t reacted like Jo just did. It had taken him an hour of getting drunk before he could drink it straight like that. The trick, my boys, is not to inhale immediately after the shot goes down. Breathe first, then down the shot and savor it before you breathe again!
Ahhh, the rosy cheeks of the morning ‘pick me up’! ๐ Yes, dear Jo… let some air into that cleavage.
A few weeks ago, I got a bottle of Wild Turkey 101 and dumped cayenne pepper into it until the bottle was filled the rest of the way up. I wonder how either of them would react to that ๐

Perhaps not meade, but I daresay one might be able to tempt Lana with some ัะฑะธัะตะฝั (or “sbiten,” for the curious).
