Second strip of 2013 and it’s a nice long one…*durr that’s not what she said* So as we delve further into Lana’s integration into the Cats n’ Cameras Store family it would seem Jim is still the only person with any reservations about our big brown bear. Seems Sari’s already taken quite the liking to her. What’s ahead.. Well Sari + Camera = Well you’ll just have to see next week! See you then.

Its a nice scene indeed, but Sari looks a lot older and a lot less playfull.
I think its the size of her head. Compare it to the image at the top of the site. Her head on these images is a lot smaller compared to her body, where as before it was slightly over-sized, making her seem more like a child.
Well keep in mind I’m also growing Sarina’s hair back out a bit, so that may be effecting your perception of her as well. Considering this is the first chapter 3T has done for CnC I’d say she’s doing a great job adapting to characters that aren’t hers.

And I’m still waiting for Sari to look like a teenager. If she went to school she’d look like one of those undercover cops they send in, in comedies. “Hello fellow teens, what is up? I am totally not a narc.”

I expected more. Say, Sari pulling her blouse open and flashing Jim. And being the playful and oversexed girl Sari is, it doesn’t look right seeing her in a button down blouse, especially in violation of the “Three Button Rule”
Good things come to those who wait
Living so near to both a public and a Catholic high school, I can see the teenager in Sari while allowing for the implied maturity that the visual cue of a button down blouse creates. Such a clothing item is rarely seen at public high schools on students. As more public schools try uniforms to curb so called gang related clothing they are becoming more common but you are still more likely to see faculty wearing them than students.
As for Sari in sedate mature clothes … think plain brown wrapper and what might be found within said wrapper … spicy, yum.
Careful that kind of thinking shows common seance LOL More Sari to come.

Huh. So I was trying to figure out who the new middle-aged member of the cast was, and why we seemed to be expected to know who she was, and I check the comments and it’s… Sari? OK then, I didn’t see that coming. She looks 30-40-something. Not that she looks bad, just much much older.
Can’t seem to edit, so I’ll ask for a merge, if that’s possible. Maybe 30-40’s a bit much. late20s-mid30s is probably closer, after taking into account the art style making all the characters look older due to the details used.
