Well first and foremost Happy New Year from CnC, Mr. Hardiman, and Myself. Hope you all stick with us for 2011 we’ve got lots of fun stuff coming up.
I’d like you all to meet Jessi, she’s one of Sarina’s schoolmates and they’re both involved in the schools track team. Jessi will be a continuing main cast member, so I do give our new mousie a warm welcome.
The contest deadline has officially past, and I should have the page with the entries up here in the next day or two, thanks to all of you who participated! Results should be on or around the 15th!

Check her age first, she looks like Jailbait. (I’m reasonably sure that she’s at least 18, especially with her being on the track team, but I’d still want to check to be sure.)
And I think the backgrounds are the best part of this page. They really show how the bystanders feel when they get assaulted by squealing teenage girls. On the plus side, the wet blanket of shopping with Mom has silenced the squealing fit!
Alas you would be incorrect, Jessi is the same age as Sarina, both are seniors in high school. More information to come.
Sorry, where I live Jailbait is 16 and under, my bad..
Jim is using the same “rules” I employ for the Skunkworks/Caterwaul world. Just like regular animals, my characters have short childhoods, long adult years and short senior years. By the age of 15-16 they are adults, although some countries will hold that age at 16 only. Granted, it’s a little trickier with the CnC cast, since there are also humans present, implying the anthro characters would subscribe to a different set of rules and standards than the human characters.
Most people continue to allow our current society standards to dictate science fiction (which is, really, what CnC and all anthro stuff is). I suspect one of the biggest hurdles I will have with Caterwaul will be making the audience understand that their reality is not ours, and as such, the rules of the game are quite different.
