I’d say this whole thing needs to be brought out into the open and discussed as a family. An apology from Fred is also in order. And, FWIW, Fred can easily relent and grant his blessing. And, as Jo points out, he better do it sooner rather than later – I doubt that Mom is gonna be all that forgiving without positive interaction from Fred!
Oh, and to all concerned with producing this web-comic, I want to shout out a hearty “Great job and keep up the excellent work!” My week would be much poorer without the joy (and occasional heartbreak) of reading this strip every weekend! Your work and efforts are highly appreciated!
