Hey readers,
Thanks for all of you who stuck with us through Patreons tantrum that was cancelled before it killed off every bit of support most people had.. Anyhow, we’re ending this little tid bit of the prom story and moving forward again. We’ll have a little bit of Holiday Filler since most of us here at CnC won’t be able to get too much done this up coming week. Also included in this update is the November ask Tier picture I kept forgetting to post, hope you all enjoy it!
Till next week,
~Cheetah out
Just a Question: I have been a long time follower of your comic (thank you) and I know you do not charge (thank you again) and it must be tremendously difficult to find artists to help…but is this the artist you are going to remain with….it’s far too “cartoony” for my tastes….
Well, this was a statement and not a question, so there isn’t an answer to it. You’re welcome to your opinion, and don’t worry a few more weeks of nothing but negative comments and you won’t have to worry about any style in the comic , at this point I have plans to finish this chapter to fulfil the cameo purchase as there is no way I could afford to refund any of them. Any future plans are pretty much on hold.
CNC was always great to read and look at over the years. I do agree however that the new art style does not do the characters or the story justice. I don’t think this chapter was anywhere as bad as some make it out to be, a tiny bit slow perhaps i agree. Though i think if the visuals were giving us more to look at i think it would have been more well received. Its just the new more cartoon based style just does not lend itself to the adult visuals and stories being told on CNC. No fault to the artist they seem talented, the cartoon type is their style, i was hoping they would adapt to better meld with the previous comics as time goes on. But it just seems this is what the artist intends to produce. Cheetah your stories never let any of us down, i think the current art is holding you CNC comic down. I do hope you continue CNC as i’ll always read it and get enjoyment out of it. No matter what thanks for CNC it really is special.
Listen here pal, no one is forcing you to read the comic. You wanna know something? Jim nearly quit the comic because of you. He doesn’t need your constant nitpicking and if anything is really bringing down the comic, it’s people like you. He’s been part of the fandom for decades and I’ll be damned if people like us who support him let that slide away because some punk like you thinks they know better. He’s picked the artist for a reason, and should respect his decisions.
If you’ve got nothing constructive to add to the table and you’re gonna keep bringing negativity, the moderators are gonna bar you from commenting, because we don’t wanna hear it. You can feel free to continue reading or just stop altogether, we honesty don’t care either way, but we’ve had enough of you thinking that it’s okay to try to tear people down. The same goes for everyone else who think that this behavior is okay. I’m sure you mean well, but Jim has the final say in whatever goes into this project and if you like it, you can leave, no one’s stopping you.
I disagree about the art style. I thought all the characters in this latest arc are really cute and sexy – especially “Rudderbutt” 😉 But then, I LIKE Monkeycheese’s art style. Is it different that before? Of course it it – can’t change artists without changing art styles. So count me among the positive comments. I liked the strip before, and I like it now. And, for what it is worth, Jessi is the sweetest thing ever.
While the internet does allow others to voice their opinions semi-anonymously, they don’t have the right to dis you or keep hating on the artist here doing the work. If they don’t like how it looks then quit watching this site! You Oh So Superior Hypocrites!!!
While cartoon, this site and comic have been loved by me and many others and want to see this go on longer!!!
Oh, and our Cosmic Otter is lovely! I really want to see more of her. (Both in the literal and metaphorical sense!)
