And here it is. Nowhere near on time but I guess at this point it’s kind of a silly thing to get stressed about.
Thisisa is heading out to her new job, Rod is heading out on his personal adventure… I might draw him in a few of the locations he’ll be stopping in.
So yeah, it’s been over a year and wow I’ve certainly learned a lot – mostly that I don’t know all that much at all. Still, I did have to try a lot of things I’d never tried before.
Anyway, yes, this is the last CnC strip I will be drawing. I’ll be sticking around to work with Cheetah and a new artist; so hopefully CnC won’t be on hiatus too long. I also hope you all will give the new artist the same support you’ve given me this whole time.: )
Before I go, I should say a few additional things: First of all, I’m going to continue working on art – I’m just not drawing CnC anymore! Though, I do still have the Jo and Sari Girls night portfolio I now finally have time to work on, so hopefully that will be done by the end of March, fingers crossed.
Secondly; for the time being my computer can NOT access the CnC/TJA forum, so if you send me any notes there or ask me any questions in the threads I won’t even know you’ve posted them. At the moment the best way to contact me would be my FA page. ( http://www.furaffinity.net/user/kv1nn4/ )
And last but not least, thank you very much for the support you’ve given me over the last year of me working on this.I’ve enjoyed seeing your comments and observations, and I’ve appreciated that you took the time to check this out – it’s not over yet though, so please keep checking back!
…also, panel 7 was meant to be a ‘lights out’ panel but I don’t think I did it right. ^.^;

Hrm… IMHO, you can do two things, not mutually exclusive: 1: Switch the last two panels. It will have the side effect of disconnecting 6 and 7, and possibly connecting 7 and 8, but that can be fixed by… 2: Have Jo or Jim’s hand reaching for the pullcord/switch on a table lamp in panel 6, combined with a little “Click” textbox on panel 7, even though this kinda leaves out panel 8, though that may be intentional, as Al is the only one who hasn’t made a new “connection.”
I dunno, I’m trying to think of good suggestions at 3AM. XD

Either Sari or Bella think the object is something it’s not, flexible tripod? Three way dildo? Sari seems too happy for it to be a tripod and Bella seems too awkward for it to be a tripod!
I am actually very sad to see you go. Your Rod character and the unrequited love he had for Al, makes this seem so tragic for it to just end. Your illustrations really brought the characters to life and made this a truly sensational comic. I hope that the comic does continue with some part of your participation. I wish all the best and take comfort that you will still stay in touch in some form with the comic.
The part where Al sleeps at her desk alone, and not seeing her say goodbye to Rod…will that was so sad in a way too. Makes my head spin on whether she may miss him. T_T
I love how Rod looks like he’s about pull off a high stakes casino heist, possibly with a red-headed accomplice! Ha!
